Critical Care Unit
Your surgeon may request you stay in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) after your procedure, for additional monitoring. CCU is a combined Intensive Care and High Dependency Unit. It is managed by a team of dedicated Intensive Care Specialists, Medical Officers and staffed by highly trained Critical Care Nurses. A team of Allied Health Professionals also support the CCU.

When visiting, please pick up the phone handset located outside the CCU, staff will attend to you as soon as they are able. Please ensure your mobile phone is switched to silent whilst visiting the CCU and note that flowers are not accepted whilst patients are in Critical Care.
Intensive Care Specialists
We have a group of highly qualified Intensive Care Specialists on call 24/7.
The Intensive Care Specialist is involved in the care of patients within the CCU.
Medical Officers
In addition to the care provided by our Doctors, we offer the convenience of Medical Officers rostered on-site 24/7. The Medical Officers assist with caring for patients in our CCU, attending hospital medical emergencies and reviewing inpatients as directed by the admitting Doctor. There is no extra charge for this service.
